Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information DAS Licence Management, a platform operated by Digital Amit Studio, collects and how it is used and protected.
Last updated: 04 October 2026
1. Introduction
Digital Amit Studio ("we", "us", "our") operates DAS Licence Management (the "Platform"), a software licensing service that allows independent developers ("Developers") to issue, protect and manage licence keys for their own products, and allows the end customers of those Developers ("Customers") to retrieve licence keys they have purchased. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you use the Platform, whether as a Developer, a Customer, or a visitor to our website.
2. Information we collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Account information: name, email address and a hashed password when a Developer creates an account.
- Product & licensing data: product names, licence plans, licence keys, activation records (domain, device identifier, IP address) that Developers create or that are generated when a licence is activated or verified.
- Customer purchase data: name, email address, order/purchase reference and order status, submitted by a Developer or entered by a Customer to retrieve a licence key.
- Verification codes: one-time codes used to confirm a Customer's email before revealing a licence key, or to confirm an Administrator's identity during sign-in.
- Support communications: anything you submit through the Help & Support form or a support ticket, including your name, email and message.
- Technical data: IP address, timestamps and basic request metadata recorded automatically for security, audit and abuse-prevention purposes (for example, in our audit and security logs).
3. How we use information
We use the information above to: operate and maintain the Platform; create and manage Developer and Customer interactions with licences; verify licence activity in real time; send transactional emails such as welcome messages, verification codes and support responses; detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse or unauthorised use of licence keys; and respond to support requests.
4. Legal basis and consent
By creating an account, submitting an order for licence lookup, or contacting us through the support form, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Policy, to the extent required to provide the Platform's services to you.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The Platform uses session cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in to the Developer, Customer or Admin areas. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on the Platform.
6. How we protect your data
Passwords and account secrets are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Licence keys are only revealed to a Customer after they verify a one-time code sent to the email address on the order. Administrative and developer actions are recorded in audit logs so that unusual activity can be investigated.
7. Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared: between a Developer and their own Customers, as necessary to operate that Developer's licensing; with service providers who help us operate the Platform (for example, email delivery); or where required by law, regulation or a valid legal process.
Each Developer is independently responsible for the products, pricing, payment processing and marketplaces they use to sell their own software. Digital Amit Studio does not process payments on behalf of Developers and is not a party to the sale between a Developer and their Customer.
8. Data retention
We retain account, licensing and log data for as long as an account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, as needed to meet legal, security and record-keeping obligations, after which it may be deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the details on our Help & Support page.
10. Children's privacy
The Platform is intended for business and professional use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
